This song from Casting Crowns puts to music the church’s failure implied in my earlier post on Addie Kubisiak (read). We can get so turned inward that we fail to see those around us in dire need of our love and acceptance and the Lord’s forgiveness. Find a space for her in your prayers today…

Hi Warren. Thanks for stopping by. Yes, there is a reason my blog is private; the scrutiny of people from my previous church who found it. I miss writing and I miss the interaction with other bloggers, but I can do without the judgemental finger-pointing. I am currently separated from my husband due to his lack of fidelity over the past 15 years but it would seem that I am still in the wrong for making this decision.
The title of your blog is quite appealing to a woman like me.

The title of my blog reflects the core of my ministry and the heart of our church. We’ve all had things in our lives that would make us judgment-worthy and the focus of pointed fingers so I know what you are facing. If I can be of any pastoral support during your time of trial, don’t hesitate to email or talk through my blog.
Thank you, Warren. I sincerely appreciate your kind words, as well as your offer of support. I’m sure there will come a time when I will call on you but, for now, I would simply like the opportunity to get to become better acquainted. As I have been able to discern who my real friends are these days, I’m starting anew. With that, I won’t make all of my entries protected, just the ones that are a little too personal and raw. Glad to be part of WordPress…
Warren,
Thank you for caring about Addie.
Addie matters deeply to Jesus who loves her despite what may have happened. I simply follow His lead. I hope we will all continue to pray for her as everything unfolds.
